Blind

Blind

I must focus my eyes not on what is

seen but what is unseen, My anxious

thoughts  come from the discernible – the

disaster in the tangible world. The inconspicuous

moments should be the focus for each day,

because each transient moment is a gift from

You that hungers to be cherished in the present,

Not glanced over on my way to the future. The

palpable only has so much worth, but the discreet

has a worth that is  immeasurable, because I become

rich in your love not from what I can touch, but from

what I can feel as I flow through the day.
